socio economic group/scale analysis on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The socio-economic group/scale that is the main focal point in the movie 'teenage mutant ninja turtles' is seen to strongly aim towards the audience whose job is categorized under section E on the scale. Section E on the scale connotes that quite a young audience of students and young adults possibly unemployed are placed together.

Just by looking at the front cover for the movie, it is easy to identify that the movie no doubt is aimed at a younger target audience thus falling into the category E as a younger audience are most likely going to be students and most probably unemployed.

When looking at a picture like this for 'Teenage mutant ninja turtles' the audience is able to identify the various uses of colours which is known to be strongly conventional when including a younger target audience and studies have shown that a younger audience works with colours from a young age as it helps them differentiate and become more excited about the film. Also more higher aged movies have a lot less colour than something animated like 'TMNT' as they have already passed that developing stage.

Similarly people who are employed (older) are most likely to believe that films like these are quite immature and or just don't have time to watch things like this as they have other possibly more important things to do.

Lastly, nickelodeon are the main producers of 'TMNT' and are well known for producing other TV programmes which are conventional with a younger target audience.

Here is the trailer so that you can get a good grip of what I am saying.
