Genre

Genre Portrayed in Die Hard and Hot Fuzz by snapb003

This is the first piece of work that i had made during the the first week of sixth form. We started by going through the topic "genre" and how it is portrayed in many things such as films, TV etc, in this piece of work i had to write about how genre is portrayed in Hot Fuzz and Die Hard using theories such as Steve Neale's cycle theory, Robert Stam's sub and hybrid genres and rick altmans syntactic and semantic elements. Overall it was a fun task and i had learnt how to improve my analysis by trying to incorporate theory throughout my work and not just placing it at the end and to use a smaller font to create a more professional look towards the text.
